Flu is Knocking: Prepare Your Home Remedies For Common Cold



With the winter season, 8 of 10 people suffer from flu more than once a year. Although the usual flu which we all know is not fatal, it is still annoying so we always look for home remedies for common cold.


This virus can be widely spread through the air and can enter the body through the eyes, nose, and mouth.

Symptoms of Flu:
The symptoms of flu are well known by almost everyone like headache, fever, sore throat, runny nose or blocked nose, sneezing, cough, itchy eyes, and many others.

Home remedies for common cold:

There is no exact cure to treat flu, but we have home remedies for common cold which work on eliminating the symptoms. It will be much easier if you use these home remedies for common cold:

1- Garlic
Mix 2 garlics, 1 ts of honey, 2 ts of lemon juice, 1 ts of honey, and ½ ts of red chili powder. Consume the mixture daily, till flu is subside.

2.  Raw Honey
Mix 2 ts of honey with 1 ts of lemon juice and take it 3 times a day.


  1. Ginger
    Drink 3 cups of ginger tea a day.

  2. Chicken Soup
    The best chicken soup is the one made at home with organic vegetables and chicken.

    5. Red Onion

    Include red onion slices in your food.

  3. Black Pepper
    Add some pepper to your meals to benefit from its properties.

  4. Mullein Tea
    Drink a hot cup of mullein tea 2 or 3 times a day. 
  5. Turmeric Milk
    Mix some milk with ½ ts of turmeric and ginger powder, and boil them.
    Then drink it 2 cups a day.

 

  1. Cinnamon
    Include cinnamon in your meals.

 

  1. Vitamin C
    Eat fruits and vegetables containing Vitamin C, or buy Vitamin C tablets.

Try these home remedies for common cold but notice that you should consult a doctor if the symptoms of cold lasts for more than than two weeks.
